The Santa Monica beach was transformed by this amazing art installation which allowed viewers to interact with the art. Much of the art depicted sea creatures, and the effect in the night sky made me feel like I was underwater. One of my favorites were the jellyfish, which appeared to be floating over the beach. If you look closely, you can see people in some of the images, giving perspective of just how large the art pieces were. There were even musical and dance performers. The circular images looked like an orb hanging in the sky over the beach, with the ocean in the background.
In spite of the large crowd, it felt like a very personal experience, and I became immersed in the experience. Truly a magical night!
